The Monkey Tower combines heaps of play value in one combination. The net climb entry and climbing wall are both fun and challenging ways to get to the play hut, where the children can play in the tower with stunning blue roof and coloured walls, then take either the bannister bars or across the rings to escape (These rings will be less than 2.4m from ground level). The tower is made of natural Robinia timber, which provides an organic structure that can either blend into or stand out from your surrounds. Children can touch and feel the timber while playing, observing how nature inspiration interacts with the built environment.

Play Value

Play value is the value gained from play, the value that makes the child 'want' or developmentally 'need' to undertake the activity and thus gives the play item holding power. Play value can be described very precisely in developmental terms, looking into the human physical, cognitive, social and emotional developmental stages.

Monkey bar

Physical

the upper body muscles are developed immensely with coordination and trunk stability. This type of training is great for cross coordination

Climbing net

Physical

the inclined net supports the upward climbing movement of the body. The net supports cross-body coordination, which impacts coordination of the right and left part of brain, fundamental for other skills such as the ability to read. The asymmetry of the net challenges the children's climbing.

Climbing wall

Physical

supports cross coordination and leg, arm and hand strength. Climbing through the hole trains proprioception.

Social-Emotional

children develop courage when climbing up high. This positively affects self-confidence.

Banister bars
