Bespoke Themed Playground Equipment
As part of the new development within the Drayton Manor resort, KOMPAN were approached because of our ability to provide unique bespoke theming through our Design Studio.
The new play area would be part of a bigger development including a ride and a new outdoor dining area, adding to the overall dwell time at the park and ultimately increasing ROI.
Ultimately, the project included liaising with 3rd party companies, budget management, and project delivery to strict timescales.
KOMPAN had weekly consultation calls across 3 countries over a 6 month period to finalize all the intricate details of the project and ensure everything was to specification.
Ultimately, the project included liaising with 3rd party companies, budget management, and project delivery to strict timescales. Focused around one of our largest GIANTs tower, which was then themed to complement a new park ride which sits next to the play and dining area.
The custom Giants Tower has been carefully designed to blend in with the surrounding theme while giving that standout WOW factor on first glance.
Challenging Play For All
KOMPAN worked closely with them to include the Giants tower to give the playground that WOW factor that can be seen from all around. The Giants unit also offers sensory elements for inclusivity as well as ground-level play that is accessible by everyone.
The Giant offers a unique variety of speedy sliding, gentle swaying and not least challenging climbing. The transparent towers are meandering climbs, promoting thrill and social interaction. This ensures vigorous play, over and over. The slides are the main attractions. The open and closed slide and the challenging bannister bars offer each their fast ride. Severe fun, stimulating social-emotional skills such as self-regulation and empathy. The varied climbing activities add choice for all, the transparent climbs add the thrill. Climbing here trains cross-coordination, a sense of space and muscles.
