New modern neighborhoods

KOMPAN, as a company, began following observations on a housing estate by happenstance. The huge block structure apartments from the 1970s were devoid of individuality - they were dull, concrete buildings. An art project was eventually commissioned to add a spark of life to the surrounding area. However, children began to adopt the various art pieces as play structures, which created a unique focal point and meeting place for people.

The artist saw an opportunity that satisfied a need. This is where KOMPAN got involved. Today, art and play are united. The playground is no longer an add-on but instead, an integral part of the area. Contributing to communities is in KOMPAN's DNA. Working with architects and developers to achieve healthy, sustainable societies is among our most precious goals.
