WOW! The Home & Rescue themes hugely appeal to all children’s urge for dramatic play inspiration. The low, wide stairway invites all abilities. The many under deck openings to the den invite breaks with friends. There is a Home side and a Rescue side, both popular in play. Thanks to rich variation in accesses: curved, inclined and via holes in panels, the Home & Rescue appeals to a wide user group. The curved climbing wall, the crawl through holes and the accessible stairway train motor skills such as cross-coordination, which supports cross-modal perception, important for reading skills. It builds body confidence, and makes children more secure in moving through the world. The Home & Rescue can be played on all sides. From the upper level tactile details encourage communication. Children will play, making friends for life.

Play Value

Play value is the value gained from play, the value that makes the child “want” or developmentally “need” to undertake the activity and thus gives the play item holding power. Play value can be described very precisely in developmental terms, looking into the human physical, cognitive, social and emotional developmental stages.
