KOMPAN's FLEXOTOP™ ECO allows playground designers to let their imaginations run wild - and children love it. Different colours, shapes and graphics can be used to support the overall design theme, as well as extend play from the equipment to the surface. The soft yet firm surfacing provides a supportive surface for wheelchair users to travel across the playground, making it ideal for accessibility.
From an operational point of view, FLEXOTOP™ ECO provides a clean and comfortable surface with very low maintenance costs.
Thanks to its two-layer design, this surfacing provides brilliant shock absorption and safety protection. Functionality and quality is ensured through TÜV certification according to EN1177 and BS 7188.

Rubber Graphics
More than 200 prefabricated rubber graphics in 2D and 3D are available to implement directly onto the surface. They can emphasise the design theme and increase both play value and learning.
Tested accordingly to EN1177 and EN1176
Critical fall heights
When installing playground equipment, the total thickness of the surfacing must be adapted to the Critical Fall Height of the play equipment. Flexotop™ ECO is tested accordingly to EN1177 & EN1176 by TÜV.

Our FLEXOTOP™ ECO Sneakergrind and Flexogrind are both made of 20% sneakergrind blend* and 80% post-industrial recycled EPDM.
As you may notice from the name, SneakerGrind is made from recycled trainers (also known as sneakers) that have been shredded into small pieces. SneakerGrind is a versatile choice as it can be mixed with other recycled types - like FlexoGrind - or mixed with virgin colours by 15%.
It's vital that we reuse and recycle our raw materials in order to support a healthier planet. Trainers and other recycled materials are perfect for making sustainable safety surfacing and circular solutions on playgrounds and fitness sites.
