Old meets new in customized playground
The landscape architect behind the new playground in Ramsden Park, Toronto, had the vision to create something new and exciting but wanted to include something old. By old, she meant incorporating both the city’s heritage and some time-tested favorites from the existing KOMPAN playground. The new playground uses yellow colors and themes from Toronto’s history of brick and has maintained several of the timeless play items from the old playground, like the iconic Crazy Hen. After giving years of fun at its former location, the first of the revolutionary springers is still in great shape and has become part of the new playground.
We are firm users of KOMPAN. you can customize it, that's really great, and then you just know that once you install it - it can last for 30+ years.

A park packed with play for all ages
If you pass by Ramsden Park at mid-day, you will find it packed with families. The park's new playground has play zones that offer age-appropriate play for all children. Located in the middle of the playground, the large customized Corocord tower is the draw for older children. Climbing through its infinite net of ropes offers a fun challenge that has the ultimate reward of a fast trip down the slide. Leading up to the large climbing tower playground structure are long tracks of agility nets that offer vertical climbing and intense development of balance and coordination skills. Various springers and seesaws with playful designs will give children of all ages hours of rocking fun, either alone or with friends. The Supernova offers a fun challenge for older children looking to take a spin with friends.
