Modernism, Geometry and Functionality
Geometric playground climbers not only attract children for fun and play, but they also have an aesthetically pleasing design that blends in well with urban environments, parks, and schoolyards. In 1971, when Conrad Roland, a pioneer in rope play, began constructing his first play structures, he aimed for precise geometry. As an architect and collaborator of Mies van der Rohe, his dedication to modernism and functionality is evident. Corocord™ Frame Nets still embody this spirit, adding a timeless design to any playground. Similar to Spacenets, these geometric playground climbers create a three-dimensional rope environment, allowing children to move freely in all directions.

A three-dimensional play universe with many options
The latest technology allows for various methods of customisation using membrane elements, themes, and colours. This high level of flexibility enables the creation of many configurable geodesic climbing structures that are tailored to your specific needs and preferences. The three distinct Frame Net designs consist of up to 15 rope cells, and with the option of themed panels and add-ons, the possibilities are endless. The COROCORD™ Frame Nets come in 6 galactic colour schemes, which feature bright colours that are appealing to children of all ages.
Our geometric climbing structures are designed for kids aged 3-8 years with a regular rope segment length of 33 cm. The Frame Cuboctahedron offers a unique advantage with its expansive roof zone where children can come together, talk, relax and observe. This feature is especially beneficial for girls who love to climb. These geodome climbing frames have a compact design that is advantageous for limited site conditions.
Inclusive climbing frame nets
Children with disabilities are also included in the play as they can get up close to the frame net structure in their wheelchairs and play with ground-level activities with their more able-bodied friends. Many of our frame nets have a lower area as well as higher areas, take the spider web climbing frame and rope play towers for example; low enough to the ground for those less able to get involved, yet high enough to allow others to explore even further.
