Wobble bridge
Physical
passing the swaying bridge steps develops the sense of balance, which is fundamental in navigating the world securely.
Social-Emotional
passing others on the way supports consideration and turn-taking skills.
The Wobble Bridge is a hugely popular addition to the playground. It is both a challenge and fun to navigate across, training balance, strength and coordination at the same time. The horizontal logs are responsive to every movement, and social skills are also developed, as children can feel the movements of all the others on the bridge at the same time. The bridge is made of durable Robinia timber, which provides an organic structure that can either blend into or stand out from your surrounds. Children can touch and feel the timber while playing, observing how nature inspiration interacts with the built environment.

Play value is the value gained from play, the value that makes the child 'want' or developmentally 'need' to undertake the activity and thus gives the play item holding power. Play value can be described very precisely in developmental terms, looking into the human physical, cognitive, social and emotional developmental stages.

The overall framework applied for these factors is the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), which quantifies "environmental information on the life cycle of a product and enables comparisons between products fulfilling the same function" (ISO, 2006). This follows the structure and applies a Life-Cycle Assessment approach to the entire Product stage, from raw material through manufacturing (A1-A3).
