A playground that attracts families to camp
Kinsarvik Camping near Bergen in Norway is a popular vacation destination. With 70% of its guests being families, it was important for the owners to provide activities for children. So they built a playground with a variety of different kinds of play, and now camping holidays are fun-filled adventures as they enjoy the numerous and exciting play features. And when the kids are happy, the adults are happy. The owners were delighted when most of the reviews highlighted the great ‘all-weather’ playground. Bergen is the wettest city in Europe – on average it rains 195 days per year. The management of the camping ground wanted to make sure that the playground would therefore last the extreme weather as well as everyday usage. Their decision for a highly durable playground from KOMPAN guarantees a lot of happy families.
Families with children make up about 70% of our guests. And that´s why we had to invest in a better playground.

What better place to make friends than a playground?
The playground offers numerous elements for toddlers and preschoolers and is the perfect place to make new friends at the campsite. Highlights are a green playhouse and play towers with plenty to explore. Play panels inside and outside show children that learning is fun. A steering wheel with moving puzzle play fosters the development of logical thinking, while the music panel encourages children to make sounds together. This promotes the development of creative skills and is especially fun together. Physical skills are required when the children want to reach the different floors through the climbing net or a ramp with climbing grips. Other play elements inspire joyful play while creating fun for all. The thrill of jumping on the trampoline makes children happy, while the iconic Supernova and the nest swing provide excitement through speed.
