While parents enjoy a romantic dinner, the children can experience adventures on the playground
The famous beach restaurant Sansibar on the German island Sylt is popular for its exclusivity and quality of food and ambience. But another attraction is particularly exciting for families - the huge nature playground. While parents enjoy the beautiful location with a glass of wine, the little ones experience incredible play adventures. Sansibar’s owners have long associated with KOMPAN and decided to refresh the previous KOMPAN playground with a nautically-themed Robinia ship that fits perfectly into the sand-duned surroundings. Exciting elements were added, such as the iconic KOMPAN Supernova carousel and the Robinia Explorer ship. The playground, built of robust robinia wood, withstands the natural forces of the island and requires almost no maintenance due to its durability.
The playground is very well received, families are coming especially because of the playground.

Play adventure in the dunes
In a big space, children have much to discover. The large pirate playground ship offers room for a seaman's crew and invites children to go on a tour of discovery. On deck, binoculars and cannons, encourage dramatic play, helping to train cognitive abilities such as language skills and imagination. KOMPAN also integrated elements that increase physical activity. Climbing skills are required not only to cross the rope bridge to get from the stern to the bow but also to scale a climbing wall that reaches from the sand to the deck of the ship. Other highlights like the cableway, the rope swing and KOMPAN’s iconic Supernova carousel guarantee thrills and action. To swing or stay on the carousel, the children train their senses of balance and coordination. Whether alone or together - fun is guaranteed. The perfect after dinner treat.
