Attract New Visitors with Inclusive Outdoor Play Equipment
Knowsley Safari wanted to create a themed play area for their younger visitors outside their Sea Lion Display Area. It needed to be an inclusive playground in vibrant green and blue colours, using different material types with bright coloured wet pour. Over a coffee with the customer we came up with themed ideas to suit the surroundings and feel of the area.

The Result
Knowsley Safari now have a new sea lion themed playground which includes a variety of inclusive and accessible equipment complimented by coloured themed wet pour surfacing. Green wet pour has been carefully used to create islands and two small mounds as well as a balance beam that links the two mounds together. Blue wet pour has been used to create a water effect theme around the green mounds and islands. Splashes, stepping stones, swirls and a sea lion graphic has been included within the wet pour design.
