Top of the kid's wish list!

The adults wanted a circus, but after ´guidance´ with the local children, they were convinced to build an extra large Robinia castle. This new playground in Ennepetal is on the top of the children’s wish list, which may be the reason for its huge success. The castle is filled with unique features that spark the imagination. Local children are amazed with all the opportunities the castle offers and are use it for role play every day. The majestic castle rises high above the surrounding houses and attracts young princes and princesses from the greater town area, having become the focal point for all families in Ennepetal.

It is not just a castle for us or the institution, but really for all of Ennepetal.

Role play and thrilling heights

The wooden playground castle is a solution for everyone. The elevated and ground-level play dens, barred windows and cannons invite dramatic play. This stimulates children’s language and social skills. The unique iron frame net offers a sense of height and thrill, turn-taking, and consideration of others. The steep climb in the open space trains spatial awareness, cross-coordination, and muscle strength. When swinging and passing on the Coconut Rope Bridge children experience their own and others’ movements. This spurs cooperation and helps develop social-emotional skills. The castle is further installed with a climbing nets that help children develop cross-body coordination and muscle strength.
