Mile End Gym was in desperate need of rejuvenation, and KOMPAN was the company to help! The council reviewed tender submissions with several key points in mind: the gym area needed to offer value for money, the equipment had to be of high quality, stand out from competitors and provide resistance options suitable for both amateurs and professionals. The area also needed to accommodate different types of workouts, whether cardio, weights, or strength training - it had to cater to all. Today, many people are seeking the performance, quality and functionality of indoor gym equipment in an outdoor setting.

Opening in the middle of the pandemic meant that many people were looking for new or innovative ways to work out, as indoor gyms were closed. Once the gym was installed, it had over 100 visitors on the first day, which was great for the council to see. What was once a deteriorating gym area was now full of life again.
Moreover, the equipment comes with fully interactive instruction boards. Even if you’ve never seen a piece of equipment before, you can simply scan the QR code with a smartphone and easily follow the workout plan videos.
